It’s no secret that we love travel here at Zapwater. From weekend getaways to holiday vacations abroad, it’s one of our favorite industries to both work in and experience. In celebration of our passion for travel and the new year ahead, we’re rounding up four vacations you need to take in 2018. Which one will make your travel bucket list?
Belgrade, Serbia
One of the largest allures of traveling to Belgrade is the slower pace of life. As VOGUE mentions, people there amble as opposed to walking and enjoy lunch over 3 or 4 hours instead of a half hour. Despite this, there’s still plenty to do as a tourist in the gritty, bustling city. Before you go, take a look at these top sights, many of which are related to the country’s history and culture. Don’t miss out on the nightlife either. After all, it is referred to as the world’s nightlife capital!
Detroit, USA
transportation, including the new QLine streetcar, making it easier for guests to navigate. Not to mention, it’s close to Chicago and makes a great weekend trip for us Midwesterners! While you’re there, brush up on your history lessons and explore the contemporary art scene.
Toronto, Canada
Though Canada has other major cities worth visiting, none are as packed with culture, art and food as Toronto. Architectural Digest even named it one of the Top 20 Places to Travel to in 2018. Interestingly enough, half of the city’s population was born outside of it. Toronto also houses 200 ethnic groups that speak 140 different languages. Needless to say, you’ll get more than just a pretty skyline when visiting Canada’s charming and hospitable cultural quarter.
Park City, Utah
Movie lovers and winter sports enthusiasts alike shouldn’t overlook Park City. Every January, the city hosts the illustrious Sundance Film Festival and even boasts some of the country’s best ski resorts. For an unforgettable stay, rent a home through Utopian Luxury Vacation Homes. If you want to be in on the city’s action, this beautiful Main Street property is ideal. Nature lovers might do better in a breathtaking mountain hideaway!
