Annual Chicago Jazz Festival // August 24—September 2nd
Since 1979, the annual festival dedicates itself to jazz appreciation and promotion. Programmed by the Jazz Institute of Chicago, all are welcome to enjoy the beautiful and creative sounds of smooth jazz in the Chicago Cultural Center, Millennium Park and venues across Chicago. The city's very own jazz talent is featured alongside national and international artists. The sounds are truly impressive, so don’t miss this free opportunity!
North Coast Music Festival // August 31st—September 2nd
North Coast brings together a diverse selection of artists from folk to hip-hop. If you’re looking for some good dancing, this all-ages festival is for you. Located in Union Park, the festival houses several stages and delicious Chicago food and drink vendors. You can jump into the heart of the crowd or sit back in one of the iconic hammock structures. Great American Lobster Fest // August 31st—September 2nd
You don’t have to go all the way to Maine to get a taste of the delicious, buttery goodness that is lobster. Hosted on the iconic Navy Peer, with stunning views of Lake Michigan, this is the Midwest’s largest lobster and seafood festival.
