ZAP WANDERLUST: Zapwater’s Post-COVID-19 Travel Survey Results
At Zapwater, we aren’t shy about our love for travel. That love has always helped us create thoughtful, innovative and meaningful strategies on behalf of our travel and tourism clients. As we entered 2020, we were excited about the trends shaping our annual strategies and looking forward to another incredible year of helping our destination clients tell their unique stories.
Enter a global pandemic.
While the intent behind our campaigns hasn’t changed (each of our destinations and resorts is still stunning with a story to tell), just how we are approaching them has greatly shifted. Our team has always taken pride in our ability to be nimble, especially for our travel and tourism clients that require it, and equally in our ability to create data- and results-driven campaigns.
As the world puts travel on pause, our team has been hard at work preparing for what the future of travel will look and feel like. In order to craft our client’s re-opening strategies, with ideas rooted in and informed of the latest travel preferences, we decided it would be smartest to go straight to the source for answers—passionate travelers.
We asked our followers, family, friends and fellow frequent travelers to share their input on how they feel about travel and whether or not they would be ready to get out and explore once travel restrictions are lifted.
Our team is extremely grateful that 1,280 U.S.-based contacts provided their valuable input for our travel survey, sharing insights that will help shape how we speak to U.S. audiences. For your easy viewing, we’ve rounded up the top answers into a nifty infographic.
