AMANDA RECUPIDO PROMOTED TO ZAPWATER COMMUNICATIONS’ FIRST COO

CHICAGO (September 26, 2023) – Zapwater Communications is pleased to announce the promotion of Amanda ReCupido to Chief Operating Officer (COO). Amanda joined the firm in 2022 as Managing Director of Zapwater’s Chicago office. With this promotion, her duties expand to collaborate with Zapwater’s teams in Los Angeles and Miami to incorporate operational best practices and equitably manage resources across the entire organization.

As Managing Director, Amanda successfully implemented internal communications structures to increase employee engagement, and her objective financial evaluation has allowed Zapwater to set priorities for the health of both the business and staff. Amanda has also deepened Zapwater’s relationship with local colleges, reaching a wider pool of applicants for internships and beyond. As COO, Amanda will remain focused on agency infrastructure and resources, while partnering closely with other members of Zapwater’s leadership team on the agency’s operational strategy and growth.
