HERITAGE LINE RETAINS ZAPWATER COMMUNICATIONS AS AGENCY OF RECORD
LOS ANGELES, CA – March 26, 2024 – Heritage Line, a leading boutique luxury river cruise line in Southeast Asia, retains Zapwater Communications as its agency of record. The award-winning agency will provide strategic PR counsel and tactical planning in the U.S. market through a proactive and multi-faceted communications strategy.
Heritage Line is marked by its collection of remarkable artisanal ships, attention to luxurious detail and ability to immerse guests in unique and authentic experiences that highlight the rich cultural tapestry of Southeast Asia. Among its collection of seven stunning vessels, five are currently operating along the upper and lower Mekong River, Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay. Heritage Line’s distinctive and bespoke itineraries are curated by locals of the region and expose guests to the native people and cultures of Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos through intimate excursions and thoughtfully coordinated local experiences. The team behind Heritage Line is driven by the desire to bring the unique, untold stories of Southeast Asia to life, sharing adventure, culture, tradition and authenticity with visitors on each journey.
Heritage Line features seven five-star ships, each with its own distinctive theme and itinerary. Three ships Ginger, Ylang and Violet are in Vietnam’s Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay; two ships The Jahan and Jayavarman travel the lower Mekong River within Vietnam and Cambodia; one ship, Anouvong, is in the upper Mekong River in Laos; and one ship, Anawrahta, is in Myanmar that plies the upper and central Ayeyarwady (Irrawaddy) River as well as the remote Chindwin River. Anawrahta is not currently sailing, and Anouvong is being retrofitted and scheduled to return January 2025. The line of refined waterway voyages was founded by John Tue Nguyen, who grew up alongside the Perfume River in the imperial city of Hue, Vietnam. John’s unique connection to the beautiful rivers of Southeast Asia is shown in his devotion to the local villages, where Heritage Line regularly brings medical, educational and infrastructure resources to help sustain the rural communities.
