Meet Team ZAP: Grace Marsh
Grace was born and raised in the retail business. Her great grandparents started a small greenhouse when they immigrated to the USA from Germany. The greenhouse grew overtime, they passed it down a generation and turned the greenhouse into the largest flower shop in her hometown of Freeport, IL. She grew up learning the ins and outs of what it takes to run a small business by watching her family’s dedication and hard work. She shifted her passion for retail from flowers to apparel and attended Columbia College Chicago where she further developed her knowledge and skills in retail marketing and public relations.
After graduating college, she developed a strong passion for menswear and joined the team at a local, independently owned retailer. After starting as a marketing associate, she was promoted to Director of Brand Communication after only nine months. While she was there, she helped bring international attention to what was once a small Chicago shop. She spent four years in that role before taking her talents to the Chicago History Museum, home to the world’s second largest costume collection, where she served as the Marketing Communications Manager.
In her spare time, Grace spends as much time as she can with her friends, family, new fiancé and their cat, Henry. An avid brunch goer, she is always on the lookout for the cities best Bloody Mary. To offset her weekend brunching, she enjoys taking classes at CorePower Yoga & The Barre Code.
