ZAP Decor: 2017 Color of the Year, Greenery

With each new year comes an official Pantone color to match. 2017’s Color of the Year is Greenery, a refreshing and revitalizing shade that’s symbolic of new beginnings. It’s the ideal excuse for a home refresh, just in time for spring. Incorporating the botanical color also helps to beat the winter blues and add life to various spaces. Take a cue from Donna Mondi Interior Design and brighten up a white bathroom with textured, green curtains. The geometrical pattern says trendy while the hint of color is the perfect finishing touch. Prefer something bolder? A bright green piece of wall art will draw attention from even the most unsuspecting of guests.

You can always interpret greenery more literally. Consider planting some foliage in this adorable plant pot set from Unison Home to revitalize any space. If you’re into more subtle pops of color instead, try some throw pillows for an easy update. Whether on your living room couch or bed, these are great to restore and renew the look of any room.

As Pantone describes, greenery is nature’s neutral. Don’t be afraid to incorporate it into several parts of your home and maybe even your wardrobe. We’re thankful for any opportunity to brighten up our spaces in the middle of winter!
