ZAPWATER COMMUNICATIONS ANNOUNCES FIRST PARTNER

CHICAGO July 21, 2011 - Zapwater Communications, Inc., the Midwest’s premier boutique public relations agency, announces it has named Mayra Bacik as its first partner. Bacik, who has served as Chief Financial Officer since 2008, has been a vital part of Zapwater’s growth over the last few years and has overseen the agency’s double digit, year-to-year growth. “Mayra has been a tremendous asset to this agency," noted Zapwater's President, David Zapata. "Our agency has seen steady growth since Mayra joined and she is a big reason for our continued success. I'm excited for her to become a Partner at Zapwater.”

Before joining Zapwater, Bacik was the Manager of Analytics and Assessments for Cohen Financial. Prior to that she served as the Vice President of Finance for Landmark Properties LLC where she supported relationships between the company, its lending institutions, financial consultants and joint venture partners. Bacik also spent six years working for General Growth Properties, Inc. where rose to Senior Manager of Financial Services. In this role, she was responsible for the hiring, training and project management of a department of fifteen analysts. She graduated from DePaul University with a Bachelors of Science in Accountancy.
